Petworth is a centre for arts and culture set in the heart of the South Downs National Park surrounded by the Walls of Petworth House and Park. The National Trust’s 17th century Petworth Mansion and Park, landscaped by ‘Capability’ Brown is well worth a visit.
Experience Arundel with its wonderful waterside location, the castle and grounds, Swanbourne Lake where you can hire a rowing boat or, simply wander around the many antique and independent shops, cafes and pubs. There is a Lido too (May – September).

We recommend West Wittering Beach (SSSI), which has recently been described as – ‘Sussex’s answer to The Hamptons’ by Muddy Stilettos, Sussex. Close to Chichester Marina, this beautiful sandy beach has a beach cafe and offers windsurfing & kitesurfing. Please note, car park pre-booking is required.
