The Hut
If you are looking for a short break to getaway and relax, The Hut offers a luxury, glamping experience at the heart of the South Downs National Park. Newly renovated and furnished to a high standard, it sleeps two in a king-sized bed. Tucked away in the corner of a 7-acre meadow with faraway views and surrounded by historic woodland. The Hut really is the ultimate romantic destination. It sits in a conservation area in Coates, Fittleworth (a Downland village in the Chichester District of West Sussex). Making it an ideal location for exploring the South Downs National Park, historic market towns of Petworth, Midhurst & Cowdray, Arundel and Chichester. Close to Goodwood for horseracing and motorsport events including Glorious Goodwood, Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and weddings at Dorset House, Fitzleroi Barn, Upwaltham Barn and Bignor Park.
Bed linen and towels are included in your stay.

Facilities
This traditional Shepherds Hut has a dining area, sofa, basin and a log burning stove. The pretty, soft furnishings perfectly reflect the idyllic, countryside surroundings. Electricity is available for the duration of your stay.
The Hut has a comfy, kingsize bed. Outside you will find a separate outdoor loo and shower.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the far-reaching views, explore historic woodland and even collect your own wood for the fire pit.

There is off road parking for two cars. The nearest train station is Pulborough (10 mins). Nearest airport London Gatwick (45 mins). Ample space for a helicopter to land if you were considering fly in.
Extras include a fire kit (matches, kindling, logs & firelighters), birthday decorations (with or, without chilled fizz). Please email for prices and more information.

The nature around the woodland that this is set in was an added bonus, we sat outside with the fire pit on and listened to the owls in the evening. The log burner inside the Hut was a lovely touch and great to snuggle up-to on a cold evening. We will definately be back!

It’s very secluded and peaceful, tucked underneath the trees in the corner of your own field. Lovely to wake up early, sit and look over the field and listen to the animals. The place has everything you need and the fire pit and bbq are great additions. Nice walks and pubs nearby. Lindsay welcomed us, made sure we had everything we needed and was only a message away if we needed anything else but left us to it. Great host. Also the pheasants are hilarious!!

The hut is so very well equipped and thought out – it had everything we could have needed including an OS map for exploring. We will definitely be back!
