The Yurt

We are just so delighted we found the Yurt at garden house. It was a spontaneous breakaway that was a massive hit with every single member of the family. A beautiful setting, wonderful attention to detail whilst being really comfortable, so inviting and stunning to look at. Was perfect and the sun came out for us too. With the addition of the shepherds hut, bell tent and bothy – such an amazing site.

We had a wonderful stay in the yurt. Spacious, stylish and comfortable but cosy too, thanks to the wood stove.  The setting is bucolic and clever. The toilet is tucked away with a warm electric shower. The semi open-air kitchen is very well stocked and looks out on the partially covered, large dining area. Its the perfect way to enjoy the Sussex countryside with plenty of creature comforts.

Lindsay and Dominic are great hosts!  Very special yurt experience. We stayed with our 4 year old daughter, she made her a little bed and prepared everything for us on arrival. Very secluded and quite location, great spot for a family weekend or romantic getaway. Would love to come again soon.

Lindsay and Dominic are great hosts!  Very special yurt experience. We stayed with our 4 year old daughter, she made her a little bed and prepared everything for us on arrival. Very secluded and quite location, great spot for a family weekend or romantic getaway. Would love to come again soon.

A unique and stylish glamping experience. Quiet location perfect for a family getaway. We really enjoyed cooking and listening to the sounds of nature.  Lindsay was a fantastic host. A truly wonderful stay.

Lindsay’s yurt is just magical! We had a really rejuvenating stay surrounded by the beautifully decorated space and gorgeous countryside. The yurt also has a wonderful outside sace with covered dining area, indoor/outdoor kitchen and open deck with firepit. All this meant that even despite a bit of rain there was plenty of space for us to relax under the shelter. Lindsay was so helpful and communicative and added some really lovely touches for my wife’s birthday. It made the stay extra special. Overall this was even more special than we expected and we’d love to go back! Highly recommended.

We had another three wonderfully relaxing nights at this exquisite retreat, after two nights just over a month ago. Lindsay is a brilliant host, the space is stunning and has everything you need for a short stay.  The location is very peaceful and close to beaches and lovely local towns. Simply amazing. We will be back.

We are just so delighted we found the Yurt at garden house. It was a spontaneous breakaway that was a massive hit with every single member of the family. A beautiful setting, wonderful attention to detail whilst being really comfortable, so inviting and stunning to look at. Was perfect and the sun came out for us too. With the addition of the shepherds hut, bell tent and bothy – such an amazing site.

We had a wonderful stay in the yurt. Spacious, stylish and comfortable but cosy too, thanks to the wood stove.  The setting is bucolic and clever. The toilet is tucked away with a warm electric shower. The semi open-air kitchen is very well stocked and looks out on the partially covered, large dining area.
